I think I have an addiction. Admitting is the first step, isn't it? I love shopping for fabric! The ladies in the fabric store know me by name and ask me how my kids are doing. I love browsing all the rows of bolts and I love seeing all the pretty color combinations and patterns and wondering what I can make with it.

I credit my sewing excitement to my high school Home Ec teacher Mrs. Walters. She kind of let me run wild with my sewing. While everyone else was pinning patterns and sewing clothes I was cutting squares and making my first quilt. After that I was hooked!

I made quilts for all my friends and rice bags and wreaths as gifts. Everyone loved everything I made and made lots of comments about how I should sale my wares.

When I stopped working full time to start my family, I wanted to be able to support my fabric buying habit! So I opened my Etsy shop!

I sell just about anything I can make with fabric. Quilts, heating bags, wreaths, mug rugs, hot pot holders, etc.

Quilting is so much fun. It is like putting together a puzzle. It is such a stress relief and after running after two kids all day, stress relief is what I need!
